Big Mind

To perceive a real thought, do not think,
to experience true feeling, don’t feel,
for beneath most education’s hoodwink,
and a rote upbringing’s need to conceal,

where what’s taught is to live in minuscule
of a world right, smart and shackled narrow,
lives a gargantuan sense of no rule
and voracious hunger for life’s marrow.

No need to embrace primitive shaman,
but why not heed insight of our dim past -
the universal need for a brahman’s
glimpse at what exists in universe vast.

Yes, I know, the world is just for the few,
why not then give more a chance to see through?
